My feelings right now.
I only just got David Bowie’s Blackstar album, and aside from the obvious impact his condition had on the creation of the album, it is beautiful music. I love his use of brass instruments, the epicness and the eeriness of it. To still be able to be so creative while staring down death is something to strive for. This man was a gift.
The night news came that Bowie died, I went outside, was looking up at the stars and thinking about him while hearing Space Oddity in my head.. then this song leaked into my head and I ended up shaking my butt in the middle of the street. Leave it to Bowie to make a sad situation turn into a fun one.
Oh heck yes.
